Collection: Calvin Clausell Collection

Calvin Clausell (b. 1989) is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist whose practice bridges the worlds of film, television, and fine art. Beginning his creative path through early sketches and graphite portraits, Clausell has spent his life studying the nuances of human expression and the emotional landscapes that shape our inner worlds.

Transitioning to oil painting in 2016, he developed a signature approach centered on large-scale, photorealistic works on wood panels, pieces that explore identity, reflection, and the quiet intersections between humanity and the natural environment. His work has been exhibited internationally, including multiple solo exhibitions, most recently a 2024 exhibition in Milan, Italy, and his acclaimed piece New Growth, featured at the AKAA Art Fair in Paris in October 2024.

Alongside his visual art, Clausell has built a parallel career in acting, appearing in major film and television projects such as King Richard and Snowfall. In 2024, he further expanded his creative footprint by painting the album cover for Gunna’s One of Wun, a project that has surpassed one billion streams globally.
